The Illusion of Perfection
The story of Halle Berry's suicide attempt is back in the news, and it has reminded me that perfection is really just an illusion. She's beautiful, talented, and looked to the outside world like a woman who had it all, and yet she wasn't immune to depression or suicidal thoughts.
It's easy to get caught up in superficial things (looks, possessions, etc.), but real happiness can only come (or not come) from within. That's my corny thought of the day...
