Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
I saw Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang this weekend, and absolutely loved it! This movie is definitely not getting the press it deserves.
Robert Downey Jr. plays a petty thief who ends up in Los Angeles for (of all things) an acting audition. He soon finds himself involved in a murder investigation with his high school dream girl and professional P.I. Perry (Val Kilmer).
It's got lots of ties (some subtle and some not so subtle) to the old-style noir crime novels, but it's also full of humour. It's non-stop action and laughs, with a few outrageous scenes mixed in.
The casting is perfect and the whole feel of the movie really works.
I really can't say enough about this movie - so go see it for yourself!
