3...now 4

I had 3, but now I have 4. Cats, that is. I had been fostering a cute little kitty named Joy, and I was supposed to return her to the Ottawa Humane Society earlier today. I just couldn't do it.

She's a great cat, and so different from my other cats. She's really easy going, and lets you do just about anything to her (stretch her out, cuddle with her, etc.). You can check out an earlier entry here to see pics of her.)

I'm toying with the idea of changing her name (she doesn't really respond to it), but haven't come up with an alternative. Feel free to send me your suggestions!

that is exactly why i could never foster an animal or work for an animal shelter. i would end up with a zoo of pets!

I was just thinking what -E wrote above me while reading your entry. Have fun with the kitty (ies!). Here via Michele's today.

Our third cat, of four cats, is a carbon copy of joy. We got him from some cat rescue group a couple of years ago and he too had problems answering to his name, Reg,but is very sweet not quite as pliant as your joy but sweet all the same. His suggestion is "J" or Jay.

That's tough. I was looking my Flickr photos the other day and saw the pictures of the cats I fostered with FOAP, and felt a pang of regret and sadness. They've gone to a good place, but I still miss them. So I sympahtize.

Maybe Joy will respond eventually. It's a really good name for her, since it embodies all that she's brought to your life.
