Where Did the Weekend Go?

Between caring for a foster cat and dealing with a migraine, this weekend has passed by in the blink of an eye.

The good news is that the migraine is slowly going away. The great news is that the cat we're fostering is adorable! Her name is Joy, and she's about a year old. She's curious about everything, good at taking her medication, and a real pleasure to have around.

The second photo isn't a great one of her face, but it does show her bobbed tail. It's pretty cute when it wags!

(Note: Joy will soon be available for adoption from the Ottawa Humane Society. If you're looking for an adorable cat with a fantastic personality, keep her in mind!)

What do you mean she'll be available for adoption?
Didn't you know it's customary to always adopt the first cat`you foster :>).......Besides, this just makes the decision to adopt any subsequent foster cats a whole lot easier. Good luck, she looks like a little sweetie!!!

Hi,

What a lovely kitty! I am thrilled you are fostering. I did it for a few years for Friends of Abandoned Pets in Ottawa (which is probably how you found me...throug a technorati search?) and I found it to be very rewarding. We had some pretty traumatized cats. So good for you. I hope you find it as rewarding as I did.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, too. I love it when I get comments from new visitors.
