Grammy Awards
I watched the Grammy Awards show this morning (okay, I actually recorded them so I could watch them today and fast forward through the boring parts). Some random thoughts:
If I never have to see or hear Kanye West again, I'll be a happy girl. Very happy.
Some musical performances were great (the opening, the 'southern rock' medley, Green Day) and some sucked (J. Lopez and M. Anthony - major yawn, Usher & James Brown - the whole thing reminded me of a lame Vegas show).
The Janis Joplin tribute was great and much deserved. I kept thinking, however, that a great number of people watching the show would be thinking "Who?".
Steven Tyler and John Travolta together on one stage? Be still my heart!

I didn't watch this year but wish I would have seen the The Janis Joplin tribute, I heard from others it was great.

Hi, I found your blog by way of Christine at Snapshots from an unmade bed! It's so great to see I'm not the only one who can't stomach Kanye West...that man drives me totally insane! Look forward to popping back again!
