I'm a proud Canadian who is in my early 30s, although I usually feel like I'm about ten years younger. I earned a combined BA in Law and Psychology, and decided to go back for an Honours BA in Criminology. I love learning, and the day I win the lottery, I'm going to quit my job and spend the rest of my days as a student.

I run my own business, In-Site Designs, which is a web design and development firm. I'm really lucky in that I enjoy my work and have had the pleasure of working with some really great clients.

I have three cats, and I treat them like my children. When not working, studying or playing with my cats, I spend quite a lot of time listening to music and reading (check out my mystery/crime fiction blog).

I love watching movies that take you on a ride or make you think. I watch the big-name blockbusters, but have a weakness for obscure, independent movies. My favourite actor is Kevin Spacey and I have an ever-growing DVD collection of his movies.

I love time spent with friends and family. My family is small and scattered around the world (western Canada, Scotland, France), but some friends are like family to me. I've lost both my parents, but I'm grateful for the people I do have in my life.

It's not all sunshine and roses, though. I'll fess up to a few things. I'm habitually late, impatient at times, and am pretty much useless early in the morning. Bad drivers and people who wear fur drive me nuts.
